Ms. Higashiyama will be singing La Messaggiera in Northwestern Opera Theatre's virtual production of L'Orfeo directed by Joachim Schamberger and conducted by Stephen Alltop. She is featured in Episode 2, "A Horrible Accident".

Ms. Higashiyama will be singing Dorabella in a COVID-19 friendly, abridged version of Mozart's classic Così fan tutte, March 12th at 7pm.

Ms. Higashiyama will be singing Zemlinsky and John Adams as part of the Original Voices concert with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, honoring and discussing AAPI voices and issues as part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Ms. Higashiyama will be competing in the national level of the NATS student competition in the classical advanced college treble category. She is currently a semifinalist, and will sing for the finals in June.
